Carol Shumake, RDH
Carol joined West Georgia Family Dentistry in 2013 and was part-time until August 2018. Carol worked in a dental lab for 20 years prior to graduating Hygiene School in 2009. Carol had 6 years of employment with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta where she specialized in the care of medically compromised patients.
Carol married in 1985. She and her husband have two sons. She loves spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loves missionary work and travels to Guatemala regularly.

Christy Powell, RDH
Christy joined West Georgia Family Dentistry in September of 2022. She graduated from West Georgia Technical College in May of 2022 where she was the President of her class and received the award as Student Leader of the Year. She loves taking care of her patients to maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
Christy grew up in Carrollton, GA and still lives there with her husband, Chuck. They are parents to three grown children (two of which are married), one grandchild and their precious Shih Tzu, Oliver. When she isn't working, she loves to read, travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Patti Henry, RDH
Patti joined West Georgia Family Dentistry in 2021 but has been in the dental field since 2008. Patti graduated from Valdosta State University and enjoys helping her patients maintain a beautiful smile for life.
Patti and her husband love raising their precious children and enjoy spending time with family. They enjoy any Georgia sporting event and all types of concerts.

Olivia Johnson, RDH
Olivia is a native of West Georgia. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree form West Central Technical College in 2008. She likes taking care of her patients and helping them maintain their beautiful smiles. Olivia says she is thankful to be apart of such a fantastic dental team.
Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband Michael their son and their two daughters. Olivia enjoys watching her children play sports. She also enjoys CHS Trojan Football.

Wendy Roberson, RDH
Wendy joined West Georgia Family Dentistry in 2020. She grew up in Austell and graduated from West Georgia Technical College in 2008. During Wendy's career, she has had the opportunity to work with the military, geriatrics, pediatrics and medically compromised patients.
When Wendy is away from the office, she and her husband, Randy, enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. Wendy also enjoys traveling, interior design and outdoor activities.

Lori Denney, RDH
Lori joined West Georgia Family Dentistry in October 2023. She grew up in Carrollton, Georgia and
graduated from West Georgia Technical College in 2011. Lori enjoys getting to know her patients and
listening to their concerns which helps her to provide superb dental care.
Lori and her husband, Michael, enjoy raising their three children. They enjoy traveling as a family and
staying active in their church and community.

Megan Lanier, RDH
Megan is a registered Dental Hygienist who received her BSDH from Georgia State University and her
degree in Dental Hygiene of Applied Sciences from West Georgia Technical College. She is committed to
giving her patients the best service possible while making their experience friendly and pleasant.
Developing a rapport with her patients, and teaching them the value of maintaining good oral health, is
something Megan takes pride in. Megan is happy to be working with such amazing people and is thrilled
to have a career she loves.
Megan married her husband three years ago and they have a son, Brandt. They also are parents to two
energetic fur babies, Bokhee and Sadie. Her hobbies include traveling, being outside, and spending time
with friends and family.
